All these quotes were taking from a book called Venus in Furs, which is absolutely one of my fav books. Like seriously no joke, it really is. the writer is a master of words, and his views do tend to be somewhat dark as the book goes on, but it is precise with the emotions he draws from you. if anyone has read this book and you love it, pls send me your addy, lemme come looking for you to marry you, quick quick. For if you can see beauty in the brash ugliness that the book has, and you are strong enough to stomach its views, then you should be my wife. 
*warning, this book is not for the faint of heart, so only read it if you are comfortable enough with themes in sexuality. 


the view that love in itself could drive you to a sort of madness that would make you even consider dieing just so the other person can be happy is an idea i am willing to flirt with, this book has served as an escape for me and i hope it serves as the same for you.
